What: Mark will conduct the world premiere of his "Requiem", a new work for chorus and orchestra as well as the East Coast premiere of a new choral/orchestral setting of "The Gettysburg Address." A part of the Distinguished Concerts International New York concert series, this concert will feature a massed choir, invited from all over the United States, under the direction of Maestro Hayes.

What: Findlay Area Music Ministers Association is hosting Mark Hayes for a weekend composer festival featuring his music. Friday evening Mark will perform a solo piano concert. Saturday morning he will teach a workshop on Hymn Improvisation for the Church Pianist and lead a sacred choral reading session. Saturday afternoon he will conduct a massed choir rehearsal. Sunday afternoon he will conduct the massed choir in concert. The concert will be shared by the University of Findlay Choir under the direction of Dr. Michael Anders

J. W. Pepper Choral Reading Session and Concert. Join Mark Hayes, Joseph Martin and Heather Sorensen for a Friday choral workshop where you will learn at least 3 anthems and be directed by the composer in a Friday evening concert. The concert will also feature piano solos by Mark, Joseph and Heather. Saturday will feature sacred choral reading sessions and break-out sessions.
