This anthology is a celebration of the text writers or hymn writers who lived from the late 18th to the early 20th centuries. These hymn writers are a diverse group who share a common bond – a devout faith and a gift for expressing that faith with words, and some of their best-loved hymns over the last 200 years are represented. Reproducible program notes, an excellent source for printed recital programs, are included as a part of this collection.
